Chefs Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Anne Burrell and Alex Guarnaschelli were challenged to make a dinner for 100 people using only discarded food. What they found was thousands of pounds of perfectly good food go to waste every day in NYC and in USA in general.
If you have some time watch this special. I hope the Food Network continues to show programs that can help us become aware of food waste and help minimize it in the future.
